ADVANING 5-YEAR LIMITED MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY FOR LUXURY SERIES RETRACTABLE AWNINGS
LIMITED WARRANTY COVERS THE FOLLOWING:Advaning’s warranty provides coverage for all of its original Advaning Luxury Series awnings that are sold and installed within the United States of America and Canada to be free of defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty only applies to the original owner/purchaser of the product and is only effective on a basis of sixty (60) months or five (5) years from the date of purchase. Any defects or issues presented to Advaning within the warranty period will be promptly handled by Advaning customer service and resolved within a reasonable timeframe. Entire awning framework, including extruded & die-cast component parts, springs, & cables, are covered. Should the purchaser/original owner submit a warranty claim within the warranty period, Advaning will provide a resolution option that may include new replacement parts, instructions for repair, or both. Powder coated and painted finishes are excluded and are NOT covered under this limited warranty. During the warranty period, owners in Canada, Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico are covered for parts/replacements at no charge. However, the owner would assume all shipping/handling and applicable duties and taxes. Advaning’s Warranty does not cover any return shipping or prepaid return labels.
Should the purchaser/owner notify Advaning within the warranty period from the date of the original purchase and after being deemed defective by Advaning, will the warranty claim be resolved by either of the following:
A. Defective component replacement. (shipping charges may apply).
B. Detailed instructions for correcting the issue. Or both A & B.
WARRANTY LIMITATION AND EXCLUSION:The warranty will be in effect once the awning is fully paid for. Advaning is not responsible for damage due to faulty modifications, installation, carrier damage, or re-installation. Advaning assumes no liability for damages sustained to any structure to which the awning is attached, or to any properties located beneath or adjacent to said structure. This limited warranty does not cover damage from ice, snow, hail, high winds, vandalism, neglect, improper use, or any natural disaster. This limited warranty does not cover degradation due to salt corrosion, oxidation, and chipping or peeling of the paint. Powder coated finishes and painted finishes are excluded and are NOT covered under this limited warranty. ANY MODIFICATIONS OR ALTERATIONS TO THE PRODUCT WILL VOID THIS WARRANTY. ADVANING, INCLUDING ITS SUBSIDIARIES AND AFFILIATES, SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE IN ANY MANNER WHATSOEVER FOR INJURY, DEATH OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY AS A RESULT OF INTENTIONAL OR ACCIDENTAL MISUSED FOR PURPOSES FOR WHICH THE PRODUCT WAS NOT DESIGNED FOR.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THE ADVANING LIMITED WARRANTY:This warranty is non-transferable and does not cover product purchases from the initial buyer to a third party. This warranty does not cover incidental damages, such as loss of time, loss of use, or installation costs of defective, repaired, or replaced products. This warranty does not cover products that have been damaged or rendered defective as a result of: (a) neglect, abuse, or misuse. (b) Modification of the original product. (c) Improper use or installation using products not manufactured by Advaning. (d) Service provided by anybody other than Advaning. (e) Abnormal mechanical or environmental conditions. (f) Unusual physical or electrical stress -including failure or fluctuation of electrical power, lighting, static electricity, fire, tornadoes, or other natural disasters.

Prior to contacting Advaning for warranty claims, please have your model name/number, original proof of purchase, photos, and or videos of the issue experienced ready for our customer service team to assess.
Submitting a claim will not extend or alter the warranty coverage period.
Any work done by a 3rd party or non-authorized Advaning agent will void the warranty.
SHIPPING DAMAGES:On the occasion of a damage claim caused by the shipper/shipping company, the owner must contact their point of sale and the delivering freight carrier within 3 days of signing for the delivery in order to make a claim. Failure to report freight damage and missing parts in a timely manner & in accordance with the carrier’s guidelines may result in you incurring all costs. Likewise, there are 5-days from the time of delivery to report missing parts to Advaning.
THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IS IN LIEU OF ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. When will I know my order has shipped?
As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment. If, for some reason, there is a delay in stock, we will contact you before accepting payment.
When will my order ship?
If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within 2-5 business days from the date of your order. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out. Cancellations of Custom Orders
Custom or made to order products cannot be canceled or refunded as these products are put into production specifically for your order.
These units, are custom made to your specification or created once you order. Once you place your order they start building your unit. Your warranty will guarantee you a fully functional and operational product. If it is not clear whether your order is custom or made to order, please message or call us.
All sales are final for Custom made and Made-to-order products.
Refunds and Returns
If you need to exchange your product, you may do so. You, as the customer, are responsible for any shipping costs throughout any returns and exchange processes.
Not all orders are available for return once they have shipped. We order our products directly from the manufacturer. Therefore, if the manufacturer will not permit us to return a product, we cannot offer you a return. This often varies on a case-by-case basis; please reach out to us if you would like specific information on your brand and/or product.
Due to drastically increasing LTL/freight shipping costs, any outright returns will incur 25% cancellation fee + return shipping costs. If you are replacing the product with something else, we may be able to help you cover some of the costs depending on the product.

We promise to do our best to get your order to you as soon as possible. We provide estimated shipping times on the product pages based upon what our suppliers and freight companies tell us, and those estimated shipping times may change or vary without notice (Due to supply chain issues, the steel mills behind on making metal, the manufacturers delayed because of the mills, the overwhelmingly demand on shipping, factory/warehouse and dock workers and so on).

I installed this product one year ago and absolutely love the features and functionality of the DTV+ Shower System. I chose a configuration set up to ensure that I was able to enjoy the great Spa Experiences to destress, energize and decongest. My system includes three showerheads (So great for warmth and coverage), three vertical bodysprays for the back massage, two horizontal body sprays for calf & foot sprays, a rainhead and handshower to clean the shower.
The system also provides up to six user presets so everyone in my family can have their own set up for temperature and experiences. I did integrate the DTV+ Kohler Konnect Module for App control and to start my shower before I get in. The warm up mode ensures the temperature is exactly where I want it and purges all of the cold water out of the lines before I get in.
I also installed the Kohler Amplifier and SoundTile speakers for music in the shower and bathroom space. They partnered with Polk Audio for an amazing sound experience. With the array of products available I was also able to add the Verdera Voice mirror with Alexa built in for voice control in the bathroom space. Kohler is the clear leader in combining all of these products and more to make a true spa like getaway in my bathroom. Thank you Kohler - Keep the amazing products coming!!
Love the looks and functionality. Minor technology issues
Four out of five stars due to minor technology glitches and we have struggled locating owner manuals for operational questions and adjustments. Overall, very happy with system.
This is our second DTV+ system installation. We moved and during our renovation we added the DTV+ system with 6 ports. Our system has 3 body spray tiles, a large rain head and a standard showerhead with room for 1 more expansion sprayer in the future, if desired.
We reviewed competitive products before selecting the DTV+ system again.
Yes, the touch screen response time is not similar to a smartphone. We wouldn't expect that type of response time in a shower interface unit but it would be a good improvement by Kohler design engineers.
The unit is very nice looking - something we were looking for in our master bath.
We have the unit hardwired into our network and never experience connectivity issues.
We took advantage of the shower presets which is a nice feature for different setups and temperature settings.
Every once in a while the unit will start up, get to temperature and immediately shut off. Not sure why but able to restart the unit immediately again without issue. This would be an issue Kohler design engineers should look into for owners.
Without a doubt the entire system is a premium expense and potential owners should clearly understand this fact.
Professional installation is recommended but as you will find your everyday plumber will not be familiar with installing these complex systems. Inquire ahead of time with your plumber before they are hired.

Not an inexpensive system at all. But worth it in my eyes
We had this installed this spring for our shower. We have body sprays, two shower heads, a handheld, speakers and steam all running through this system. Not having multiple diverter and valve handles in the shower gives it a sleek look. I had an ethernet cable ran into the new space in order to hook it into the system controller. This has eliminated virtually all of the connectivity issues.
Nice clean stream of water and a perfect solution for a free-standing tub that's installed away from the walls. Not sure why the price is so much higher for the non-chrome version, though.
We installed our Kohler DTV+ digital shower system just before Xmas in our master bathroom and have been loving it ever since. This is a large shower 4 X 7 foot and we have 5 of the 6 ports active with a rainhead and handheld shower at one end and a standard shower head and two body sprays at the other end. Because it is digital you get a much cleaner look in the shower with no valves or handles to turn. Everything is driven directly from the digital interface control panel which looks very cool like a sleek IPhone. It is very easy to use and was incredibly easy to set up and get operational. I was the General Contractor on this master bathroom renovation project and Kohler had outstanding support for this DTV+ shower system. They had detailed documentation that was easy to follow for the best way to set up and install the shower system. They also had excellent phone support at HQ that I spoke to about 4 times per week leading for the month leading up to the installation. I was worried this extensive shower might be complex and difficult to install but their help line was patient and very helpful getting me educated on what we had to do and what pitfalls to avoid. I should also mention their phone support differentiated Kohler by only having Americans from Wisconsin answer the phone and didn’t keep you waiting on hold very long either. My Kohler Signature Store recommended a plumber who had experience installing DTV+ which was a big help and I found the electrician but if you are the GC and coordinating these contractors I highly recommend you read the documentation ahead of time so you are the expert. When it came time to get the system operational I was very pleased that it was intuitive and very easy to get it running. The speakers in the shower sound awesome and were also very easy to play via BLUETOOTH through my IPhone. The Kohler polished chrome plumbing fixtures were all very high end and excellent quality you would expect from Kohler. We have used Kohler products for years so we had high expectations. This DTV+ digital shower system has far exceeded our expectations and we are very happy with the final installation.
The valve is a rough in valve and I have not tested it yet, but I am sure that Kohler will live up to it's expectations. The valves were delivered as promissed and on time. I was very happy with my purchase.
I bought this a month ago. Currently I have it roughed in and did op ck for proper operation with the controller. The valve works. No handles, no headaches. Perfect for people with disability if they can press a button.
Required this part and the DTV+ Interface when our DTV-I interface display failed after 15 years (control functions were still operable but display was nearly unreadable). Actual control of the DTV valve system now resides in this electronic module rather in the Interface. The PID algorithm to control temperature is improved over the DTV-I. At the end of a shower, this Module now shuts off the valves one by one rather than all at once (as did the DTV-I), providing almost no water hammer effect - nice! We are not using any other functions besides shower valve control.
Looks like good quality. I had to return my first one as I had made a mistake and ordered one too large. They were very gracious and accommodating. Great customer service. The only reason I would not give it a full five stars is the technique for securing it involves wrapping the straps around. I thought I had done it securely and came back to the house, finding the ends had blown off. It is possible to wind the straps in a continuous fashion, so that go out to the ends where they can be tied. However, some additional steps on either end would likely make this a lot easier. Overall a good product at a reasonable price with excellent customer service. Will definitely do business with this company again.

The Awning Cover is just what we thought and what was advertised. It was the right size and fit for our awning. Had some problems finding the adhesive that they recommended, so we contacted their service and they helped. We won't know whether the cover protects the awning until next winter (Dec 2021); but we have good hopes that it will.
